Process know-how
Warping prepares the warp for weaving. It is the transfer of multiple yarns from a creel of single bobbins, forming a parallel sheet of yarn wound on to a drum from where they are unwound onto the warper's beam.
The required number of bobbins, based on the number of ends/threads required in the warp beam, are mounted on the bobbin holders in the creel. The tension of the warp needs to be enough to separate and align the threads. It helps improve the quality of warp yarn by removing knots and streamlining thick & thin variations.
